With applications now being accepted, the Essex Business Excellence Awards are in full swing and nominations are increasing by the day.
A number of companies have already registered their interest in the awards this year, hoping to scoop one of the award trophies at the awards ceremony in October. Companies thinking of submitting an application should be aware of the many benefits of getting involved this year;
From the get go, the event is an opportunity to network with fellow high-profile businesses in the region and beyond. The 30-minute Champagne Reception allows sponsors, finalists and guests the chance to converse and build on their contact-base.
Category sponsors and their shortlisted finalists across all of the categories are invited to a lavish Champagne & Canapés evening to meet and network with other finalists and sponsors, and create links with local businesses they may never have otherwise had the chance to meet.
Coverage for sponsors
Being involved with the awards on a headline or category sponsor level brings significant benefits, including extensive media coverage and interviews in local newspapers including the Essex Chronicle, Bentwood Gazette, the Harlow Star and the Herts & Essex Observer. Sponsors’ logos will also be prominently positioned across various awards collateral including online and on the media wall at the event.
Coverage for finalists
Being shortlisted as a finalist will lead to coverage in local newspapers as well as on the Essex Live website. Finalists blurbs will also be included within the A4 event brochure placed on all tables at the awards evening.
Throughout the evening, while primarily focussing on the success of Essex Businesses, the event will also provide an opportunity for all attendees to raise money for charity. This will not only provide the worthy charity with valuable funds, but will also help businesses involved add to their crucial CSR activities.
